Hello everyone! Today is April 22, 2010 and it’s considered at the 40th Earth Day Celebration.

Anyway, I wanna great you all a Happy Earth Day! Let us all remember that Mother Earth is dying and it’s in our hands that we can change her destiny. Let us always think of ways to be green to help save her!

“The White Ribbon Campaign (WRC) is the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women (VAW). In over fifty-five countries, campaigns are led by both men and women, even though the focus is on educating men and boys. In some countries it is a general public education effort focused on ending violence against women.”

They started back in 1991 with a handful of Canadian men. They decided that they will take responsibility to urge men to speak out against violence against women. So wearing a white ribbon is their way to symbolize their opposition against violence to women.
