I just realized that except for my children who undergo regular checkups with their pediatrician, the rest of the family have never really undergone routine checkup by the family physician. That should be a no-no considering that we are not getting any younger and we are already starting to feel something different here and there.

I really think my husband and I should sit down and talk about setting ourselves up for an appointment with our physician. Personally, I would like to subject myself to an ekg or electrocardiogram. I want to find out if there are any abnormalities with the electrical activity of my heart.

I sometimes suffer from shortness of breath, dizziness and palpitations that’s why I want to see if these have anything to do with any abnormalities in my heart’s function. Since my family depends on me, I always need to be in the pink of health. I can’t afford to get sick.
